Pain Relief from the Father of Medicine

In This Issue:

Use Hippocrates’ Remedy to Eliminate Pain

By Al Sears, MD

Arthritis painThe team at my Wellness Research Foundation discovered a powerful new weapon in thebattle against chronic pain. Today, I’m happy to report that I’ve finally found a formula that meets my standards for quality and purity.

It’s completely natural, with no side effects. It has a history that’s thousands of years old. Most doctors don’t know about it. Best of all, it works even better than expensive prescription drugs.

We know the ancient Egyptians used tree bark to treat inflammation. But it was the Greek physician Hippocrates, considered by many to be the “Father of Medicine,” who really put it on the map. He found it was so effective in eliminating pain of all kinds that he felt compelled to write about it — way back in the 5th century BC.

History remembered Hippocrates, but forgot one of his most crucial discoveries. Until now.

It turns out that the bark of the white willow tree contains salicin. This natural pain fighter is similar to the active ingredient in aspirin, but with a crucial difference: It doesn’t do any harm to your body.

Why?

Aspirin’s active ingredient, acetylsalicylic acid, is a synthetic compound. Under a microscope it looks like salicin. But the similarities end there.

Aspirin’s fine for the occasional headache. But if you take it regularly, you’re putting your health in serious jeopardy. It delivers a jolt to your system that can do lasting damage over time.

Salicin is very safe. Because it’s an organic compound, it works with your body to conquer chronic pain. Your body absorbs it slowly, so it doesn’t “shock” your system. And because of its slow release action, it stays in your system longer and provides lasting relief.

The science backs me up on this. The American Journal of Medicine published a study where researchers split a set of chronic back pain sufferers into two groups. The first took white willow bark extract while the second took a sugar pill. White willow bark extract standardized for 240 mg of salicin eliminated pain in 39 percent of the first group. Only 6 percent of the second group experienced any pain relief.1

Scientists published a similar study in the journal Phytomedicine, using a very specific extract of white willow bark with folks suffering from lower back pain over an 18-month period.  In the white willow bark group, 40 percent taking 240 mg of salicin were pain-free after only 4 weeks.2

And that’s just a sample of the available clinical research. The fact is, white willow bark extract works for severe headaches and soreness in the muscles and back.  Now you can see why I’m so excited.

At first I planned to use white willow bark extract on its own with my patients. But I found it was even more effective when combined with my number one pain fighting formula.

My formula contains a unique blend of completely natural, highly effective pain relievers, including natural sulfurs and ginger root. Sulfur has been known to cure pain for as long as white willow bark. Trojan warriors soaked in natural sulfur springs to promote joint health. The Chinese have been using ginger root to treat chronic pain for centuries.

What’s more, both of these natural ingredients also enjoy a clinically proven track record. The prestigious British Journal of Sports Medicine published a study on arthritis of the knee and glucosamine sulfate at 1500 mg per day, one of the key compounds in my formula.

Nearly 80 percent of people with joint pain experienced complete relief, and 70 percent showed improved joint movement.3

Look for a source that adds white willow bark to your pain-fighting arsenal.

Does Your CoQ10 Really Work?

Dr. Al Sears says: “If You’re Taking the Wrong Kind, You May Be Wasting Your Money!”

The many health benefits of taking Coenzyme Q10 are already well established… Yet many patients I talk to in my practice tell me they don’t feel any different after they start taking CoQ10.

When they show me the bottle, I immediately know why.

As it happens, most of the CoQ10 they are taking never makes it to their cells where it can do the most good.

In fact, most people over 50 have a hard time converting CoQ10 into its usable form. The lion’s share of the valuable CoQ10 enzyme disappears - making it impossible to give your cells the protection and nourishment they need.

Fortunately, I’ve found a simple way to solve this problem forever …

Get the most powerful, most effective form of CoQ10 on the planet - NOW!

Sleep apneaHealth Warnings:

Dangers of Sleep Apnea!

By Joseph R. Simaie, DDS

Sleep apnea, a condition in which breathing stops for more than 10 seconds during sleep,

can cause more damage to your health than just lost and restless sleep.  Constant gaps in breathing, sometimes as many as 30 per hour, can create elevated blood pressure levels and increase your resting heart rate.

According to a 14-year study conducted  by epidemiologists at the University of Wisconsin which evaluated 1522 healthy state workers averaging 50 years of age, as many as 365 (24%) were diagnosed with sleep apnea, and 63 of them had  severe conditions.1

A review of death certificates indicated that, “over time, those with severe sleep apnea were more likely to die earlier than those without.” Contributing factors such as being obese seems to increase the likelihood of sleep apnea.  This is due to increased fatty and soft airways that are more easily collapsed.  Large tonsils and tongues, tight throat muscles, and a history of smoking are also risk factors.

Although sleep apnea is not usually fatal on its own, when combined with heart problems and chronic inflammation, it can increase the risks of heart attacks, strokes, and elevated stress hormones.

If you suffer from sleep apnea there are several non-surgical options available such as oxygen masks or anti-apnea dental devices which are worn at night while sleeping.
