A Must-Read for All Men
Can it Really Be an STD?
Here’s breakthrough news every THB reader should pay attention too. Prostate cancer may be caused by a viral infection, one that is transmitted sexually.
A newly published study found a virus named XMRV in aggressive forms of prostate cancer and according to the report, “all individuals may be at risk” for infection. In the latest study, researchers found XMRV in 25% of 300 prostate cancer samples tested.
Researchers have a theory for how the virus may be sexually transmitted. After a man with the virus has intercourse, the virus may be passed on to the prostate tissues of his partner’s subsequent sexual partners.
The same researchers showed last year that XMRV was able to integrate into host DNA—another strong indicator that it promotes cancer cell growth.
It is still too early to say conclusively that prostate cancer is caused by a viral infection or that it is transmitted like other STD’s. However, if scientists can establish this as fact, then it offers men new ways of preventing this often deadly disease.
In the meantime, men of all ages can do the smart thing and practice safe sex.

Eat This to Lose Weight
Many Americans are killing themselves by the way they eat. And not just people who eat too many Big Macs — even people who are “eating healthy” by avoiding fat and taking in lots of carbs.
This is a formula for physical disaster, says Dr. Al Sears, THB’s chairman. Low-fat, high-carb diets run contrary to the natural design of the body. A much healthier way to eat is to focus on quality protein. Protein is the best food to burn fat, build muscle, and control overeating.
Here’s the proof. In a very revealing study, people that ate a high-protein diet lost 7 pounds in six weeks and gained twice as much muscle. Test subjects that followed a standard diet did not lose any weight.
What are the perfect protein foods? Grass-fed beef and eggs from free-range chickens. In fact, eggs are considered the gold standard of all protein because they have all the amino acids you need in the ideal ratio.
According to Dr. Sears, both men and women should try to eat one gram of protein for every pound of lean muscle. If you weigh 180 pounds and have 20 percent body fat, you have 144 pounds of lean muscle mass. So shoot for 144 grams of protein a day. If you don’t know your body fat percentage, the average man can estimate between 15 to 18 percent and women 18 to 22 percent.
Here’s something else you can do to up your protein intake. Try supplementing with a protein powder. Make sure it’s a pure protein and has no more than 5 carbs per serving. Then watch those pounds melt away.

Rain Forest Herb Gives You Lasting Energy Throughout the Day
Dr. Sears brings together two powerful nutrients to create one powerful new formula. Adding just a spoonful of Choline Punch to your favorite drink gives you:
- Mental clarity and alertness that lasts the whole day.
- Stronger memory and power of recall.
- Better physical coordination and a more stable gait.
Dr. Sears trekked through the Amazon jungles of Peru and was introduced to a powerful rain forest herb. According to tribal folklore, the Indians of the Amazon River Basin have been using it to prevent fatigue and increase physical endurance since before recorded history.
By combining this potent herb with a powerful brain booster, Dr. Sears’ Choline Punch ramps up your mental energy and accelerates your thinking. Get the safe and natural ingredients that keep your memory sharp and give you the power of instant recall… right HERE.
Plaque Be-Gone
Calcium is an essential mineral. We all need it. But if it stays in your blood instead of going to your bones (where it should be) it can be very damaging.
Calcium in your arteries is the primary cause of plaque deposits. It causes your arteries to harden. And this leads to heart attacks and strokes.
Your doctor may tell you that the solution to blocked arteries is bypass surgery, but according to Dr. Michael Cutler you can solve the problem safely and naturally with a natural amino acid.
Besides safeguarding you against heart disease, this amino acid attaches itself to other toxins like heavy metals that you come into contact with every day and removes them from the body. One simple amino acid that provides two life-saving health benefits —a bargain to be sure!
Dr. Cutler explains it all here.
More Reasons to Get Into the Mood…
One of the best ways to stay healthy happens to be one of the most enjoyable. An active sex life has a long list of health benefits that most people are not aware of.
Take for instance boosting immunity. Having sex at least once or twice a week releases antibodies that help fight the germs that cause colds and flu.
If you are “willing” to have sex at least twice a week, you will lower your risk of heart disease later in life.
Feeling down in the dumps? Have more sex. It causes your body to release certain hormones and chemicals that make you feel happier. The more often you have sex, the happier you are and the less likely you will be to take anti-depressants.
Sex is even good for your aches and pains. The feel-good chemicals that are released during sex work as pain relievers throughout the body.
There you have it… more than enough reasons to cuddle up to your sweetie tonight!

melanie: I am looking for more about a very imminent problem, which it would be great for someone other than myself to research–or if you already have answers, please publish
about melatonin/for overexposure to cell-phone tower radiation: I live in an area outside Tallahassee where we are surrounded by towers
after two years of living within ten miles of the latest tower installation, the devastation on living things is becoming apparent rapidly
in checking out the effects of cell tower radiation on google, one effect was the destruction of melatonin and its effect on sleep–recommended melatonin to counteract effects of radiation on immune system
since cell-phone towers are beginning to blanket the whole earth, it seems, the need for us to learn exactly what the true cost, personal and environmental, is for getting such superb clear phone reception. (we seem to be dealing here with a new holy grail–it does so much for us and we are profoundly enamored with it)
a rule of thumb for the power of towers to do damage to every living thing in an area can be as simple as: how good is your cell-phone reception?
if reception is outstanding, you are living in the unholy presence of an instrument of mass destruction of life itself
the downhill process in an area is slow at first, pervasive and resembles other natural phenomena, so its effects are attributed to “cycles”, climate change, disease, insects and on and on–to include, as well, to the imagination of the impartial observer–the messenger of bad news who is the real culprit in such news
these are just some of the ways that we humans are capable of denying any evidence of reality–all to hold on to this precious magic gift of a small portable instrument that clearly transmits our voices to family and makes instant communication possible in the business end of our lives
i am living in the very heart of a once productive acre which is all but gone for food production or wild life
to give you just one tiny example of the many “last animal survivor sounds” from this scene, it’s like being asked how would it feel to be the only survivor of a major calamity?
then imagine the muffled sound of this single lonely owl hooting in the middle of the night in the woods outside my bedroom–just loud enough to be heard by kin–but not loud enough to attract a hawk–of which it does not know that there are none of those around either any more
typically, such last cries for help in a dying area are repeated only once or twice–at which point I surmise that the last creature of that species in the immediate area leaves or just huddles some place until its own demise
it has exhausted its options and its own strength and its food supply has also died
unless we are capable of understanding what any sentient creature goes through when there is no one else of its kind left and its cries will no longer be heeded because that creature is utterly alone at the end–well,…..
all I can add is that some day–in the ultimate scheme of things, if we cannot now comprehend the paths we have laid out for ourselves, but relentlessly follow them to the bitter end…
that lone owl, the last bird of its kind, that mother bird of five who ended up with just one and kept coming back to my window looking for the young survivor who no longer is, can be us
the mother bird does not come looking any more because at some point, even a mother bird must give up
in the meantime, we may have natural melatonin–and what else can you come up with, Melanie, as we scrape the bottom for solutions to this humongous most un-natural of human events?
Hi Natalie–
Thanks for writing in. I haven’t read anything yet on melatonin providing protection from cell phones or towers. People over 40 may want to take it since their natural levels start to decrease with age. But it’s definitely not recommended for anyone younger than 40 since they should have abundant levels and could be doing themselves harm with supplements.
In the meantime, I would follow the common sense guidelines of the Biomagnetics Society to protect yourself from cell phones and towers.
Don’t despair Natalie. Millions of us are waking up and doing our best to inform our fellow man about the toxic nature of our modern world. In the process, we’re also saving our wildlife and natural resources. It may take some time, but I believe we’ll ultimately create a better world.
My Best,
Melanie
hummm good information keep us inform thanks….
