The cheese and spices in this burger liven up an otherwise plain turkey burger. These are delicious served on a bed of lettuce for a low-carb version or on a whole-grain roll. I sometimes serve turkey burgers open-faced on a piece of thinly sliced 100% rye flour bread.

A study published in the International Journal of Cancer found that getting 6.2 mg of niacin daily was associated with about a 40% decrease in cancers of the mouth and throat.1 These juicy burgers provide a hefty 6 mg per serving. Serve with lettuce wraps or sprouting grain buns, if desired.
